It is located at the mouth of the Xiling Gorge, one of the 3 Gorges. The campus inhabited\u00a0 200 hectares and the total building area consists of 830,000 m2. Besides, China Three Gorges University was awarded ,\u201cAdvanced unit of opening up\u201d by the Hubei Provincial government in 2010; and was awarded \u201cDemonstration base of international student education\u201d in 2014. Discipline and programs<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">China Three Gorges University puts importance on the progress of the key\u00a0 laboratories and disciplines,upgrade its administrative shape. They have created five subject groups including hydroelectric energy engineering, hazard protection and environment, the Three Gorges culture and tourism information technology and control engineering and life science and biological technology.
